Did I mention I love Publix?

Ok so today I went into Publix, knowing that Kingsford charcoal is on sale for $6.99. I used a $3.00 off charcoal coupon I got from Food Lion, bringing it to $3.99 for a huge bag. There was also a peelie on the charcoal for $3.00 off any type of meat. So I got a huge piece of steak for $.73. I also bought another bottle of Purex because I had a coupon for a free fabric softener when you buy detergent. I used that with the $.55 off the softener and $.35 off detergent. My total for detergent, fabric softener, charcoal and steak was $12.30. The bottom of my receipt said I saved $14.27. So I saved more than I spent!
I also wanted to say that yesterday I was in Publix as well and bought 2 bags of Fresh Express that were on sale for $2.50 a bag. I had $1.00 off coupon. Cherry tomatoes were BOGO. I had a $2.00 of any $5.00 produce purchase from Food Lion. I call that a helluva deal!
On top of all this, there was a manager that had just gotten off work standing in line in front of me in the Customer service desk. I was going to ask if they had anymore All well and good booklets since they were out in the front display. Being off duty, he still took the time to look for it for me. He then found me, and handed two to me. I used 2 $1.00 off Ocean Spray cranberry juices since they are BOGO.
Did I mention I love Publix?
